On September 9, 2016, Kitch lawyers Richard Suhrheinrich received a no-cause after a two week jury trial in a wrongful death case filed in Ingham County Circuit Court. At the trial, plaintiff attorney asked the jury for 7.5 million dollars in damages. The jury returned a unanimous verdict of no-cause after 1 hour of deliberations. The case involved the re-replacement of a mitral valve as well as the post-operative management of the plaintiff.
