Kitch head of Government, Public Policy, and Municipal Law group, Mike Watza, presented on “Local Regulation of Small Cells and Other Wireless Facilities” to the Southern California Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors in Long Beach, Ca. on February 13, 2020. The presentation involved debating the merits of recent FCC rulings on cell tower location and regulation with wireless industry attorneys.

The City of Pasadena extended the invitation to Mike for this panel discussion.

Mike Watza is a senior principal attorney with the firm and is licensed to practice law in Michigan as well as several federal courts of appeal across the country. He is also a Michigan registered lobbyist. He received his J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law College of Law (formerly Detroit College of Law) where he also taught several subjects, and has worked as an attorney and in the public policy arena since 1986. Mike focuses his practice on litigated and regulatory issues across subjects including local government, telecommunications, energy, insurance and most recently gaming, after serving 8 years on the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
